Artist at the origin of the Free Figuration movement, Rémi Blanchard has worked and exhibited in France, the United States and Japan since the 80s and early 90s. He collaborated and exhibited with Basquiat, Kenny Scharf and Keith Haring. He died prematurely in 1993.
The Claire Gastaud gallery has exhibited Rémi Blanchard since 1989 and will present him until his death in 1993. Today it is the only gallery in activity that exhibited him during his lifetime.
