La galerie Claire Gastaud consacre cette année un solo show à l'artiste Delphine Gigoux-Martin (1972) qui explore le dessin sous toute ses formes dans toute sa richesse et sa pluralité. L'artiste est nommée dans le parcours parallaxe : les femmes du dessin.

Une deuxième partie du stand présentera  un cabinet de dessins réunissant des oeuvres de différents artistes iconiques, Tania Mouraud, Henri Cueco, Jean Degottex, Jean-Charles Blais, Dennis Oppenheim, Donald Baechler ainsi que la gouache "Casque d'or" de MC Mitout sélectionnée dans le Parcours Art Faber.

This year, the Claire Gastaud gallery is dedicating a solo show to artist Delphine Gigoux-Martin (1972), who explores drawing in all its forms, richness, and diversity. The artist is featured in the parallax circuit: women in drawing.
The second part of the stand will present a cabinet of drawings bringing together works by various iconic artists, including Tania Mouraud, Henri Cueco, Jean Degottex, Jean-Charles Blais, Dennis Oppenheim, Donald Baechler, and the gouache “Casque d'or” by MC Mitout, selected for the Parcours Art Faber.

Delphine Gigoux-Martin explore le dessin dans toute sa richesse et sa pluralité. Depuis le début des années 2000, elle développe un univers singulier, nourri par une fascination constante pour le monde animal et végétal. Son travail propose une vision poétique et sensible souvent traversée par une tension entre beauté et menace, apparition et disparition. L’artiste décline le dessin sous toutes ses formes et sur une grande variété de supports : papier, porcelaine, tapisserie, bois et vidéo. Les œuvres présentées sur le stand offrent un parcours immersif dans l’univers de l’artiste. Une attention particulière sera portée aux tapisseries réalisées à Aubusson, témoins d'un dialogue entre tradition textile et dessin contemporain.

 

Delphine Gigoux-Martin explores drawing in all its richness and diversity. Since the early 2000s, she has been developing a unique universe, fueled by a constant fascination with the animal and plant worlds. Her work offers a poetic and sensitive vision, often marked by a tension between beauty and menace, appearance and disappearance. The artist explores drawing in all its forms and on a wide variety of media: paper, porcelain, tapestry, wood, and video. The works presented at the booth offer an immersive journey into the artist's universe. Special attention will be given to the tapestries made in Aubusson, which bear witness to a dialogue between textile tradition and contemporary drawing.

 

In 2021, Delphine Gigoux-Martin unveiled the public commission Aster, for which she was the winning artist in 2019.

 

The gallery will also present a collection of drawings by artists represented by the gallery: MC Mitout, selected for the Parcours Art Faber, Tania Mouraud, Henri Cueco, and drawings by Milène Sanchez, presented to the public for the first time.
